What is CUBEC?
The Canadian Undergraduate Biomedical Engineering Conference (CUBEC) is an annual conference held to connect undergraduate BME students with professionals in the industry, promoting education, inclusion, and innovation. Starting in 2020, this exciting event provides a platform for students to network with companies and fellow peers in the industry, exposing them to internships and postgraduate opportunities and encouraging them to explore the world of biomedical engineering on a deeper scale.
CUBEC 2025
The theme for CUBEC this year is "building bridges", making the main focus of this year's conference the interdisciplinary field of biomedical engineering. BMESS is thrilled to be hosting this year's conference for the Schulich School of Engineering's BME community on January 25, along with an exciting career fair the day before, on January 24! We hope that these events will help current and prospective BME students bridge the gap between themselves and industry members through panels, workshops, and networking opportunities.
