Who are we?
Biomedical Engineering Students' Society (BMESS) is a student-run club at the University of Calgary that represents students with specialization in the Biomedical Engineering program. We organize many activities over the year to engage our students beyond the academic life and shorten the gap between the university and the industry.
What do we do?
From Research 101, Students & Professors Mixer, Scholarship Information Night to the Ignite Series, Soldering Workshop, BMESS provides resources to students with support in research and academic studies. We are trying our best to bring the biotechnology industry across Canada closer to undergraduate students than ever!
BMESS believes that university is one of the most special time in everyone's life. Throughout the school year, we host many social activities that help to connect students from different years and majors to others. From Waffles with BMESS, Movie Night, Pumpkin Carving to the Holiday Party, we hope to provide the best experiences for any undergraduate students during their university lifetime.
